The five Cs
Working or acting together for a common purpose or benefit. When we create a sense of open-mindedness to working and engaging with others, we open ourselves up to the idea of collaboration.
Collaboration enables individuals to work together to achieve a defined and common business purpose. Collaboration is a seamless flow of ideas and practical working which maximise the sum of parts.
Cognition is about gaining knowledge and comprehension. These processes include thinking, knowing, remembering, judging and problem-solving. Awareness is about understanding where the wisdom, knowledge and experience we need in our network lies.
Communication fuels the community! For our colleagues to be co-creators and our contacts to be co-authors, we need to ensure a relevant, timely and in-context dialogue.
Every challenge is an opportunity to make a difference, ie every challenge is a chance to make something/ yourself better, more effective, competent and versatile. The best performing groups and networks have high levels of challenge.
